I've now seen a GP, an orthopedist, and a physical therapist. The consensus is that I did, in fact, strain the tendon along the outside of my right wrist, probably from overwork. I have to do a month of physical therapy and then see the orthopedist again. In the meantime I have to keep wearing the brace, do wrist exercises five times a day, avoid yoga like the plague, and do a bare minimum of things like writing and typing. Sigh. As much as I want to be proactive about my wrist healing, I also want to be working on my novel now that I've gotten some feedback! It is so frustrating to be stymied like this. All I want to do is write. . . .
In other news . . . hmmm. Maybe I don't really have other news.
Oh! On Saturday my partner-in-crime and I went up to see some friends outside of the city, and one of them asked me to do a writing blog with her. So I am. It's here and I'll try to do my first post there tomorrow.
I think that's about it for now. My work day is nearly over, and I should keep typing to a minimum. Have patience with me, blogosphere; I promise I'll be good to you if you wait for my full recovery!
